The main goal of the Union is to promote the development and improvement of workers in the prosthetics, orthopedics and rehabilitation industry, who are involved in the production and provision of technical and other means of rehabilitation of disabled people, disabled children and other specific categories of the population, to inform doctors and specialists, as well as the general public about the availability and implementation of the latest technologies and opportunities in the industry. Exchange of experience, achieving mutual understanding between manufacturers of technical and other means of rehabilitation by coordinating the intellectual, economic, financial and production resources of the members of the Union. Social, legal protection and legal support for members of the Union.

Assistance in the training, retraining and advanced training of specialists in the prosthetic and orthopedic and rehabilitation industry. Establishment and development of relations with international professional organizations, holding conferences, symposiums, seminars, including at the international level. Assistance in the development of the prosthetic and orthopedic industry, the introduction and production of new technical and other means of rehabilitation. Broad involvement of the public in solving disability problems in order to adapt people with disabilities to living conditions and improve their overall level of health. Development of social partnership of members of the Union with state authorities, local governments implementing social policy in Ukraine.
The Union is prohibited from supporting projects that can be used for criminal purposes against society or contradict the legislation in force in Ukraine.
