During the seminar, the Dutch specialists demonstrated the full Open Socket production process, including measurement, fabrication, fitting, alignment, and testing. Herwin Smith and Jan Mertens also provided prosthetic solutions to two patients by manufacturing Open Socket devices for them.

A comparison between the old and new prostheses was presented at the conference, allowing attendees to clearly see the difference and the advancements offered by the new technology.
